How to Use Eyebrow Stencils for Plucking?
As a self-confessed beauty enthusiast, I know the importance of having brows that are on fleek. But perfecting your arch can be time consuming and tricky - plucking your brows to create the shape you're after is difficult. If you want to get it just right, then using an eyebrow stencil might be just what you need!
Having the perfect eyebrows is something that I've always been passionate about, and over the years I've learnt how important using an eyebrow stencil can be. It makes plucking your brows a much simpler process and helps you to achieve the shape you're after with ease. I'm here to share my tips on how to use eyebrow stencils for plucking, so let's get started!
The Secret to Perfectly Shaped Brows: How Often Should You Thread?
Choosing the Best Eyebrow Stencil
When it comes to choosing an eyebrow stencil, there’s a few things you should consider. Firstly, think about the size of your brow - this will help you to figure out which size of stencil works best for you. If you have smaller or thinner brows, then opt for a smaller sized one; if you have thicker or bushier brows, then go for the larger size. You should also consider the shape of your desired arch - you can find eyebrow stencils with a variety of different shapes, so it’s important to pick one that compliments your face shape and overall style.
What are the best eyebrow stencils for defined arches?
Place the Stencil Over Your Eyebrows and use a pencil or small brush to trace around it onto your brows
Now that you've chosen the best eyebrow stencil for your face shape and style, it's time to get started. Place the stencil against your eyebrows and trace around it with a pencil or small brush. Make sure to stay within the lines of the stencil so that you get a nice, clean outline. You may find it useful to start at one corner and slowly work your way across, going as close to the edge of each line as possible. When you're done, you'll have a nice template that you can use to start plucking around it!
Start Plucking Away Any Hairs Outside of Your Stencil
Once you're ready to start plucking, use a pair of tweezers that are designed for precision. Carefully remove any stray hairs outside the line that you traced earlier until you get your desired shape and style. It's important to be gentle when plucking and avoid over-plucking as this can lead to an uneven look or even patches in your eyebrows. If at any point during the process, there is discomfort or pain, stop immediately and let your skin rest.
Apply a Moisturizing Lotion or Serum to Soothe Your Eyebrows
Now that your eyebrows are looking on fleek, don't forget to give them some extra TLC. Applying a moisturizing lotion or serum afterwards will help keep your brows healthy and hydrated. This will also reduce any discomfort from the plucking process, as well as prevent ingrown hairs. Be sure to choose a product that's specifically formulated for sensitive skin and free of harsh chemicals – your eyebrows (and skin!) will thank you!
